Design Management – WCS Limited Our business side of design. Providing effective support to the design management process, decisions, and strategies by encouraging effective innovation in building design and procurement aimed at enhancing our quality of life. Our objective is also to link design, innovation, technology, and management with our clients to provide benefit across economic, social/cultural and environmental sectors to improve design effectiveness.

Design and Technical Review – WCS Limited We look to safeguard the Client requirements, objectives and benefits propositions at key project ‘gateway’ stages through structured focussed and efficient design and technical reviews designed to ensure that interested parties, stakeholders, or relevant funding organisations have their concerns properly dealt with at the right time.

Soft Landings and POE – WCS Limited We target better briefing, design, handover and building performance in use as it is central to the design and construction process to achieve a smooth transition from the design and construction phase to the operation phase of a built asset. We value the importance of ensuring that the ‘golden thread’ of the building purpose remains through to delivery and operation with early engagement of the end user, as part of the project team, to connect with and commit too aftercare post construction.

Built Asset - WCS Limited  We assist clients to develop and implement strategy for on-going maintenance and operation during the building lifecycle. We encourage closer links between owners and users to maximise opportunities to improve service delivery by identifying potential for increased revenues, building performance, and services and reducing operation costs. This approach can lead to unlocking or redeployment of investment in worthwhile ventures that enhance end user experience and bring added value to stakeholders.

Biography – Nigel Wright the founder, is driven by a strong conviction to make better for every situation encountered. To service individual clients and organisations to help make their ideas become reality. He serves and leads projects to meet client objectives by the application of his experience of what works and why. Provide constructive challenge, to be informed and apply research, candour, tack, and empathy, in order to reach a common understanding, build consensus to a plan of action and bringing imagination and curiosity to resolve problems.

Nigel has over 30 years deep experience of the construction industry being responsible for delivering complex projects in challenging, fast paced project scenarios with multiple stakeholders in politically sensitive environments with the potential for cumulative impact on the client business. His varied professional standpoints of RIBA Registered Architect, APM Registered Project Manager, and RIBA Registered Client Adviser ensures Nigel is well placed to seeing the big picture across social, economic and political developments to ensure client engagement activity is relevant and targeted.
